I am a Semi-Permanent Eyelash technician based in Cargenbridge, Dumfries. I do Russian Volume Lash Extensions.
I also do Gelish nails, Eyebrow tinting, Brow waxing and Lash Lift.
I offer free removal of Lashes regardless of where they were applied and there is no need to book in with me for a full set. Semi-Permanent Lash extensions do not damage natural lashes if they are applied and removed correctly. Most of my clients come back every 2-4 weeks for top-ups and there is no need to have a break, or to have them removed and a new set applied provided you keep up to date with your appointments.
I use only the best products in my treatments, no cheap products.
Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions:
Russian Volume Semi-permanent lash extensions – a manually made fan of single lash extensions are applied to a single isolated natural lash. Russian Volume lashes look more natural than any of the others, and they can also give a more dramatic look. As each fan is hand made at the time of application every set is different. This is a highly skilled way of applying lashes. They are called Russian Volume as the technique comes from Russia. When done properly these do not need to be removed, you can keep getting them topped up indefinitely or let them grow out as long as you follow the aftercare instructions given.
I used to do Classic semi-permanent lash extensions, but I moved over to doing Russian Volume 3 years ago and they look and feel so much nicer. I have had most types of lashes in the past, but I can honestly say I would never want to wear anything other than Volume Lashes again.
The lashes that I do will not damage your natural lashes as long as you follow my after care instructions and do not pick them, I offer free removal for when you decide to have them off, but they are also fine to grow out.
I ask that you book in for a patch test and consultation a few days to a week before you want your lashes done. This allows me to patch test my glue on you, but also chat to you to see what your expectations are which will allow me to plan how I’m going to do your lashes to best suit your face and eye shape.
I charge £70 for these lashes and it takes me around 3hrs to do. I recommend top-ups to keep them looking full every 2-4 week and prices are 2/3/4wks £30/35/40.
I often get asked how long they last, everyones lash cycle is different but generally it’s 6-8 weeks. So after that amount of time all of the extensions will probably have fallen out if you haven’t had a top-up appointment.
Here are the other types of Lashes that are available in salons:
Volume Lash (using pre-made fans) extensions – a pre-made made fan of lash extensions are applied to a single isolated natural lash. Volume lashes look more natural than any of the others, and they can also give a more dramatic look. As the fans are pre-made the sets can’t be customised as easily to your lashes, however the treatment time is a lot shorter. This treatment is ideal if you want the look of Russian Volume but don’t want to spend as much time getting them done. Technically the cost should be less than Russian Volume lashes too. When done properly these do not need to be removed, you can keep getting them topped up indefinitely or let them grow out.
Classic Semi-permanent lash extensions – a single lash extension is applied to a single isolated natural lash. When done properly these do not need to be removed, you can keep getting them topped up indefinitely or let them grow out.
Express lashes – individual (single) lash extensions are placed along the lash line (individual lashes are not isolated). These lashes need properly removed after 2 weeks to avoid natural lash damage
Cluster/party lashes – a ready made cluster of lashes are placed along the lash line. These should be removed properly after 2 weeks to avoid natural lash damage
